The user agrees that Yachting Venture is entitled to collect, process, and utilize the user’s information and related data that are necessary in conducting its business, as well as if this is required for the recognition, limitation and removal of defects and errors in the server installations.

Yachting Venture may transmit the necessary accounting information of the user to other service providers-users of the platform and third parties, as far as it is required for the determination of fees, or necessary for the completion of an invoice, as a result of an agreed charter.

ii. The online, or downloadable content of our services do not involve content belonging to us, given that we are merely the mediator of this content. We do not have any impact on this content and we’re not obligated to control the accuracy, integrity and/or the legality of the content.

Each user, either charterer or supplier, is solely responsible for the stored, published and transmitted contents with the services from Yachting Venture. iii. Yachting Venture recognizes the importance of the security of your Personal Data and your electronic transactions and takes all the necessary measures, using the most up-to-date and advanced methods, to ensure maximum security. All information that relates to your personal information and your transactions is secure and confidential. The security of the Yachting Venture system is achieved by the following methods:

Customer Recognition: We use two codes to identify you: the E-mail or username and the Personal Security Password, which, each time you enter them, give you access with absolute security to your personal information.

You have the ability to change your Personal Security Password as often as you like. The only person who has access to your information is you through the above codes and you are solely responsible for maintaining the secrecy and hiding it from third parties. In case of loss or leakage, you must immediately notify us, as we are not responsible for the use of the password by an unauthorized person. For security reasons, we recommend that you change your password at regular intervals and avoid the use of the same and easily detectable codes (e.g., birth date). We also recommend that you not only use letters and numbers but also symbols in password creation.

Ensuring the Privacy of Your Personal Data Transmission

To ensure the confidentiality of data transfer, we use the SSL-256bit encryption protocol. The system has been certified by “Let’s Encrypt” which specializes in transaction security issues.

Automatic Disconnect: If there is no activity for 20 minutes, it automatically disconnects from the members of the Yachting Venture platform.

Firewall: Access to Yachting Venture site(servers) is controlled by a firewall, which allows for the use of specific services by customers / users, while at the same time prohibiting access to systems and databases with confidential data and company information.

Encryption: Yachting Venture system first decrypts the information it receives using the same key (which is pre-defined by the start of your connection to the service) and then processes them. Yachting Venture systems send you information by following the same encryption process.

Anywhere on the site you enter personal data (password, addresses, phones, credit cards, etc.) there is 256-bit SSL encryption.

Trading Confidentiality: Confidentiality is self-evident. The same basic principles governing classic transactions also apply to e-commerce. All information transmitted by the user / member to Yachting Venture is confidential and Yachting Venture has taken all necessary measures to use them only to the extent necessary in the context of the services provided. Some of the measures taken are the following:

Only authorized employees have access to your transaction information and only when necessary, e.g. to handle your requests.

Yachting Venture does not disclose the details of their users and transactions unless they have written authorization from you, or this is required by a court order or decision of another public authority.

In the event that Yachting Venture uses third parties to support their systems, it ensures that they are confidential.

Notwithstanding clause iv. you may request that any information be retained for you and may be corrected if you can substantiate the existence of an error.

For your own security, you should also handle all information provided through the service as confidential and not make any disclosure to third parties.
